Freedom of Information Act reports (Brown University)

In 1997-98, was the information designer and one of a team of Brown University researchers led by Professor Ross Cheit, which conducted an audit of each of the cities and towns in Rhode Island to ten provisions of the Freedom of Information Act.

This study pioneered the use of complex, newspaper style visualizations, and report card style graphics to construct a visual narrative to display key data and information to policymakers, and other government officials.

Served as the information designer for each of the subsequent reports in the series of data-rich policy analysis documents. In addition to the Brown University Taubman Center for Public Policy FOIA series, designed graphics and visualizations for other reports, posters, and journal articles.
